Evil pirates are type of Monsters which may be found by kidnapping them with the Pirate Ship.

Evil pirates' primary use is for the sextant, which gives access to the red treasure maps. They also drop Cannonball Moulds, which are used to craft Iron Cannonballs, as well as cannon parts to build the Cannon.

Strategy: A fairly difficult fight when first encountered. Due to his high defense, hitting him normally will be unlikely even with a Master Ring. A mix of Fireball, Reflect, and a poisoned weapon (Poison Stinger Dagger or Rapier) to deal damage, along with Invisibility to avoid damage are necessary to win. Improved Fireball (Blood Fire Snake) and Improved Reflect (Blood Fire Witch) help as well.
