General information
The Undead Leader is the final boss of the Mansion Raid. This encounter has of 6 phases with unique mechanics and attacks, however not all phases have to be entered to defeat the Undead Leader; it is possible to finish this encounter without ever finishing the first phase and on normal difficulty, the player(s) are unlikely to reach phases 4 and higher unless done on purpose.
To defeat the Undead Leader, the player(s) must destroy the Obelisk, the boss's "true" health pool. In every phase but the last, the Obelisk will spend a period of time summoning the Undead Leader, who appears with a temporary health pool. The Undead Leader then attacks with a specific pattern depending on which phase it is in, then disappears. At the beginning of every phase and throughout the entirety of the final phase the Obelisk is vulnerable. Additionally, if the Undead Leader's temporary health pool is emptied in any phase other than 5 before the phase is completed, the Obelisk will be vulnerable for the time it would have taken to finish the phase, before starting a new phase.
Phase 1
- Countdown and summoning: A countdown timer is shown, and any missing health and mana is restored for the player(s). The player(s) may begin casting spells during this countdown. Then, the Obelisk appears and it begins summoning the Undead Leader. The Obelisk is vulnerable both during the countdown and while it is summoning the Undead Leader. After 20 seconds, the Undead Leader appears. It sends up to 3 bursts of Moons, choosing a random player for every burst.
- Moon burst
: On normal difficulty, this burst consists of 3 Moons; 2 grey and 1 pink, and is sent to a random player. Similar to the Moon attacks done by the Undead Zombie, the grey Moons do very little damage, and the pink Moons do moderate damage. The entirety of a Moon burst can be dodged with Invisibility if timed well, but only dodging the pink Moon is important. If no Invisibility charges are available, the player should time their Reflect to block the pink Moon.
Phase 1 strategy
As soon as the encounter with the Undead Zombie finishes, the player(s) should cast Fireball, preferably empowered by Reaper Armour+ as often as they can, to damage the Obelisk before the Undead Leader is summoned. When the Undead Leader appears, the player(s) should attack it with a Scythe or preferably a Scythe+. On normal difficulty, player(s) can cast Fireball on the Undead Leader so that they can attack the Obelisk again. If a player has one charge of Invisibility left after this phase, they should use their second charge as well, to ensure both these charges are available in time for when the boss is summoned again in phase 2.
Phase 2
- Summoning: The Obelisk appears and it begins summoning the Undead Leader. After a period of time, the Undead Leader appears. It sends up to 3 waves of Skulls.
- Skull wave:

A wave of Skulls is sent towards the player(s). A random "row" is safe from them. The player(s) who are not in the safe row should use a defensive spell to avoid taking damage. |
Phase 2 strategy
Similar to the previous phase, before the Undead Leader is summoned, the player(s) should cast Fireball as often as they can, to damage the Obelisk before the Undead Leader is summoned. The player(s) should use their defensive spells to avoid taking damage from Skull waves.
Phase 3
- Summoning: The Obelisk appears and it begins summoning the Undead Leader. After a period of time, the Undead Leader appears. On normal difficulty, it sends fast wave of Skulls and a fast wave of green Skulls.
- Fast Skull wave:

The player(s) should use a defensive spell to avoid taking damage from a normal Skull wave. The Green Skull wave should not be reflected. If the Undead Leader is not defeated by now, the player(s) should put their Invisibility on cooldown to ensure both charges are available for the next phase. If the Undead Leader is summoned in the next phase and the player(s) do not have three defensive spells available, they will die.
Phase 4
- Summoning: The Obelisk appears and it begins summoning the Undead Leader. After a period of time, the Undead Leader appears. It sends 6 bursts of Moons and Skulls. The first 3 bursts consist of grey and pink Moons. The last 3 bursts consist of grey Moons and Skulls.

Phase 4 strategy
Similar to the previous phases, before the Undead Leader is summoned, the player(s) should cast Fireball as often as they can, to damage the Obelisk before the Undead Leader is summoned. The player(s) should hold on to their defensive spells for the first 3 bursts, and simply take damage from them. The last 3 waves include lethal Skulls that regularly deal over 70 damage. Avoiding them with spells is essential for surviving this phase. If the Undead Leader is not defeated by now, the player(s) should prepare to either kill the Obelisk now, or fight the Undead Leader's true form.

The player(s) should use their defensive spells only for the Undead Leader's Skull attacks. These lethal Skulls regularly deal over 70 damage. Avoiding them with spells is essential for surviving this phase.
Phase 6
- Charging: The Obelisk appears and begins charging. After a brief period of time, it starts shooting lightning bolts at every tick.
- Thunderbolt
: A thunderbolt is sent towards every player. It is guaranteed to hit.
Phase 6 strategy
Throughout this entire phase, the Obelisk is vulnerable to damage. If the player(s) still have mana and they wish to defeat the Undead Leader, they should cast Fireball as often as they can. After this, they should pray (this is not a game mechanic).
