Tools

Tools are a main part of the game, allowing the player to progress within any type of skills. After receiving the Socket Scroll from quests, tools may be socketed with gems which increase their effectiveness/efficiency.

These are the current tools within the game along with their corresponding upgrades:

Tool image	Tool name	Skill area	Description/Effect
	Pickaxe	Mining	Each upgrade reduces the amount of stardust required when converting ores into XP.
	Chisel		Each upgrade unlocks new Geodes.
	Hammer	Crafting	Each upgrade reduces the amount of stardust required when converting bars into XP.
	Needle		Each upgrade allows the player to undo higher level armour.
	Rake	Farming	Each upgrade increases the player's chance at finding seeds by 5%.
	Watering Can		Each upgrade will water an additional farming patch when activated.
	Trowel		Each upgrade increases your chance at finding vegetable seeds by 5%.
	Axe	Woodcutting	Each upgrade increases the amount of logs chopped by +5 for every tree.
	Machete		Each upgrade increases the chance to double the fruits harvested when chopping Fruit Trees
	Fishing Net	Fishing	Each upgrade increases the player's fishing xp when catching fish by 5%.
	Fishing Rod
	Harpoon
	Brewing Kit	Brewing	Each upgrade increases the player's potion time by 25%.
	Toolkit	Invention	Each upgrade allows the player to break down higher level weapons / amulets.
	Magnet	Gathering	Each upgrade allows the player to filter through Junk quicker.
	Animal Trap	Breeding	Each upgrade increases your chance of finding an animal by one full day

Tier List

S - Game-changing, almost necessary for progression, upgrade asap/as needed

A - Very helpful, massive time saver, though not needed or situational upgrades

B - Useful, though limited in use

C - Not very helpful, but not completely useless

D - Very few uses, niche uses, or nearly irrelevant

* Chisel only needs to be upgraded as you hit the mining level requirements
** Hammer and Pickaxe orbs become useless after level 100, and become less helpful as your levels increase (except for pursuing leaderboard)
*** Diamond needle is required for the crafting outfit in the closet
**** Toolkit only needs to be upgraded as you hit the invention level requirements
