The Hammer, first obtained from Quests, can be used to convert Bars into Crafting xp using Stardust. It may also be upgraded using gems to reduce how much stardust is required.

Sapphire Hammer		-2 Stardust cost for every bar converted
Emerald Hammer		-3 Stardust cost for every bar converted
Ruby Hammer		-4 Stardust cost for every bar converted
Diamond Hammer		-5 Stardust cost for every bar converted

Increasing the Crafting skill is one of the most important areas of the game, as it allows to access new items as well as new content within Idle Pixel.
