Rocket

The Rocket is an item that can be used to explore the moon for Moonstone and Shooting Stars. It is obtained through Crafting at Level 56 . The Rocket also requires 55 Mining level to be able to use it.

To visit the Moon or Sun, the player requires Rocket Fuel (1 for the Moon and 5 for the Sun), which may be crafted or looted from Gathering in the Desert Mines.

Before taking off for the first time, the Oxygen Tank and Oxygen Mask are required, which can be looted from the Exorcist. They can be attached by clicking on the rocket while in possession of both. Using both items on the Rocket will remove them from the player's inventory permanently .

The rocket travels at a velocity of 0 - 3 (average 1.5) km per second, and average speed for the sun is 0 - 600 (average 300) km per second. The rocket potion boosts this by 8x (0 – 24 km per second), and the Unknown Planet Junk quest boosts this by another 2x.

Moon

The Moon is a space location, which a player may visit if the player selects to travel there with the Rocket. It requires 1 barrel of Rocket Fuel to visit this area.

Upon landing, players may have a chance to receive random amounts of Moonstone , Titanium Ore , Promethium Ore , Stardust as well as Shooting Stars upon rare occasions.

Moonstone is the primary loot from the moon. It can drop in varying amounts (0, 2, 3,and 15 -- 15 being fairly rare)

Currently, the average speed to the reach the Moon is about 5 400km/h and the distance to the Moon changes due to different orbits from 250 000km to 450 000km.

Mega Rocket

Once the player reaches 79 Crafting and 85 Gathering, they may craft the Mega Rocket, which requires 25 Titanium Bars and 1 Mega Rocket Boosters, a unique item from gathering in the Desert Mines. It unlocks the ability to travel to the Sun at very high speeds to the Sun.

The Sun

The Sun is a space location, which a player may visit if the player selects to travel there with the Rocket. It requires 5 barrels of Rocket Fuel to visit this area.

Currently, the average speed to the reach the Sun is about 300 km per second and the distance to Sun changes due to different orbits from 100M km to 200M km.

Upon visiting the Sun, players may have a chance to receive random amounts of Plasma and Meteors, as well as Shooting Stars upon rare occasions.

Plasma is the primary drop of the sun. It drops in varying amounts (from 1 to 10), and can be doubled by a perk from Criptoe.

Meteors are also significant, as they're the main source of ancient geodes, excluding ones you get from the Merchant. They are not guaranteed until you build the meteor radar, which makes at least one guaranteed to drop.

Rocket Speed Potion

This potion is required to complete a hard Brewing achievement: 'Have the Rocket Potion active as you land on the moon'.
