The Balista [sic] is a very powerful archery weapon. It must be crafted and cannot be bought from the Game Shop. Its base damage depends on the arrow type used. On every shot, 5 arrows are consumed. Arrow damage using this weapon is doubled.
The materials required to craft a Balista are 700 String, 500 Flexible Logs and 5 Dragon Bars, giving 135 141 Crafting XP.
Note: despite its name and visually resembling a crossbow, the Balista consumes arrows.
